The generous and striking petals of the peony flower make it a standout flower in any design – or even presented by itself. Due to its luxurious petals and accessible grace, peonies are currently the most popular flower for weddings. Peony flowers are very popular all over the world and thus the language of peonies is highly variable. In Greek culture it is associated with the mythological tale of the nymph Paenoia and in that context is linked with bashfulness.
